We Say Goodbye to Chris Cuypers
Hello, Kenshin fans. We have some somber news for you. Today Chris Cuypers is announcing his departure from Kenshin Studios to pursue other endeavors. We are sad to see Chris leave as he was one of the founders of the Kenshin vision way back with Nico in 2013. Chris has left on good terms though and will always remain a great friend to us. Chris did want to say a few words before he leaves.
“Hello, Kenshin fans. I know that this may come as a shock to you and honestly I am still coming to grips with this decision. I have been thinking about this for a couple months now and I have come to the realization that I need to move on to other opportunities in my personal life. I can’t juggle the content creating field and my other personal obligations. It has become to stressful and I can’t give both things the appropriate time they need. I am leaving on good terms though so no negative feeling here. Nico and I will remain great friends and I still am on good terms with the rest of the team. I am just at a point in my life where I need to put all of my focus on other things. I will always be proud of what the team and I have accomplished throughout the years of working with Nico. I am proud to have been apart of the “Godzilla: Kenshin Fan Trilogy” and being at G-Fest 2019 selling merch and interacting with fans was one of the best moments of my life and I will never forget it. Thank you to the team for giving me such a memorable experience and thank you to the fans for your never ending support. I love you all!”
-Chris Cuypers
With that said, the studio will continue to move forward without Chris. We still have plans for our Kudajira VS. series and we still have a goal to show something at 2020’s G-Fest Film Festival. Stay tuned for that and we wish Chris Cuypers the best in his future endeavors.
